Job Description:

1. Procurement Planning and Execution

  • Receive and verify material requests from the Production Planning department, ensuring clear requirements on type, quantity, and technical specifications.
  • Develop short-term and mid-term procurement plans aligned with production schedules and safety stock levels.
  • Draft, issue, and manage purchase orders (PO) and contracts in compliance with company regulations.
  • Monitor order progress and handle issues related to late deliveries or material shortages.

2. Sourcing and Supplier Management

  • Research, identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers both domestically and internationally.
  • Conduct sourcing activities, compare quotations, and perform cost analysis to select the most suitable suppliers.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, payment, delivery, and warranty conditions to optimize company benefits.
  • Regularly evaluate and classify suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and after-sales service.
  • Build and maintain a supplier database, updating profiles, contracts, and supplier capability information.

3. Process Development and Standardization

  • Participate in designing, issuing, and implementing procedures and work instructions (SOP/WI) for the Procurement department.
  • Establish order and contract approval and control mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with ERP standards, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 in procurement activities.
  • Propose process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and shorten lead times.

4. Inventory and Material Flow Management

  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Planning teams to monitor inventory status and provide shortage alerts.
  • Recommend appropriate safety stock levels and solutions to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Supervise the delivery and inspection of materials received from suppliers, ensuring quantity and quality compliance.

5. Customs Documentation for Imported Goods

  • Prepare documentation related to import shipments (contracts, invoices, packing lists, C/O, C/Q, customs declarations).
  • Coordinate with forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely declaration and clearance.
  • Monitor, file, and update customs documents for settlement and reporting to relevant authorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Electrical/Electronics, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, commercial contracts, and international payment practices.
  • Familiarity with materials and components in the electrical/electronics industry.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in Purchasing or Sourcing; experience in electronics manufacturing is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience in supplier negotiation and contract management (domestic & international).
  • Excellent skills in negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor relationship management.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/1Office).
  • Good command of English for business communication (contracts, commercial correspondence).
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
  • Proactive, resilient, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to help build processes and systems from the ground up.
